Our day-trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico was absolutely breathtaking. I never really knew too much about Santa Fe, so I was pleasantly surprised when my dad took us there. The architecture alone was incredible; not to mention all of the beautiful shop displays, local music and great food!

While travelling through different cities, one of my favorite things to do is find a great place to eat - and luckily I found a place that was not expensive at all (because Santa Fe can be pricey). I would highly recommend to anyone travelling through Santa Fe to stop by and try their burritos. I love Mexican food and I can honestly say, this restaurant made the most authentic Mexican food I have ever had. It was so fresh, so big and so spicy; I would not have asked for anything better. They served the food with a side of beans, rice and salad and had fresh watermelon juice as the refreshment. Something about this place was just the cutest - the staff were so kind and so outgoing, you could feel a sense of family and love throughout the place. (Sometimes I honestly wish I was wealthy enough to afford flying to Santa Fe just for their burritos haha!)

The shops throughout Santa Fe were just the cutest. The majority of the stuff sold were hand- made clothes, art and decor. There were a ton of little markets selling jewelry and dried herbs (sage etc) as well. Santa Fe is definitely an expensive place to go shopping but if you just take your time and look around, you will find hidden treasures and shops and not have to pay a lot of money!

Santa Fe is also a great place for culture - from Native Americans to Spanish, the community unites as one as shares all aspects of the cultural diversity. It's truly breathtaking to walk through the Native American Art Garden then to see the giant church at the end of the street. You will also see many local artists singing and playing their instruments.

Santa Fe is definitely a must-see destination, its absolutely breathtaking. You can do almost anything you can think of and make it a awesome day-trip like we did. Take your family to go see live music in the park, or take the family to dinner (you won't be disappointed, the food is delicious) or just go to window shop!
Thank you for reading my article about Santa Fe, I hope you enjoyed it as well as learned some awesome insight on Santa Fe and the beauty that resides there.
